Calculations For A Penny Boat HELP! Average Mass Of The Penny. How Do You Do It???

HELP! average mass of the penny. how do you do it??? - calculations for a penny boat

Group 1 2 3 4 5 6 7

1 25.643g 26.701g 25.575g 27.424g 25.175g 26.821g 26.179g
2 26.139g 28.030g 26.823g 26.611g 26.321g 27.526g 26.149g
3 25.545g 28.011g 26.856g 27.275g 26.342g 28.769g 27.394g

Calculations:
1. Calculate an average mass of 1 cent on the basis of the results he obtained in his laboratory group.

I answer that.
What should I do.
the response is good, but what if you the answer.
I'll give you the "best answer"
if you give me the answer!

Add and divide by the number.

ex. 2 7 4 7 8 = 28 then divide my 5 (because 2,7,4,7,8)

Before we can answer this question, I will ask the question: What do the two groups represented?

Correct me if I'm wrong, but I'm assuming that groups of 1-7 represent several hundred, and the other group (1-3) represent the test with a net worth every penny.

To obtain the average mass, the sum of the three fairs in each group, then divided by the number of attempts (3). For example, the average weight of group 1

(25,643 + 26,139 + 25,545) / 3 = 25.776g

[Note: The answers, rounded] to the thousandths to other groups, and you will receive:

Group2 = 27.581g
Group 3 = 26.418g
Group 4 = 27.103g
Group5 = 25.946g
group6 = 27.705g
group7 = 26.574g

y'go there. However, if you want to say to the mass media, to include having regard to all groups and the trial account, simply all of the masses is divided by the number of attempts (21 in this case), and 26.729g get the average crowd with a Pfennig by laboratory data. : D

Completely unnecessary. The bulk of U.S. cents normalized to 2.5 grams.

Joined bodies in each row and then dividing by the number of organs
ex) 1 +2 +3 +4 +5 = 15 15 / 3 = 5
Average = 3

After finding the average of each row to do the same to> the middle and divide has connected.
The answer is the average mass of the coin

1) Mean = 26.22
2) average = 26.8
3) Average = 27.17

Total Average = (26.22 + 26.8 + 27.17) / 3 = 26.73

Average mass of a penny = 26.73g
