Play Structure Blueprint What Is The Best Type Of Wood To Use In A Playground For A Play Structure?

What is the best type of wood to use in a playground for a play structure? - play structure blueprint

I suppose the wood, but what and why? What are the advantages of using a certain type? Softwood or hardwood?

It is a part of my A / S in the design of products research online, but I did not try, I can find all the information that is useful and gives me the right answer, always says something along the lines of "act of wood. .. "and nothing more.

I thought the birch, but it would be strong enough? Perhaps the teak? It should be easy to use, robust and sustained on a playground.

There is a new type of pressure-treated wood as a yellow wood. It is nontoxic, relatively inexpensive and durable. It is made of Southern Yellow Pine.

Once it is completed, can be colored or painters, unlike most products, pressure treated and is environmentally friendly.

It seems that the splinters to avoid, you might want to get the new wood-based materials, is a bit more expensive than normal wood, but is more durable and never flakes.
