Octagon Poker Table Plans What Should I Consider When Choosing Between An Octagon Poker Table And A Texas Hold Em Style Table?

What should I consider when choosing between an octagon poker table and a Texas Hold Em style table? - octagon poker table plans

I want to buy a poker table or a table for my husband, but know very little about the game. Is it better to play poker at home with the "boys" too? The poker table or oblong classic Texas Hold Em table style is a matter of personal taste or not the shape of the table something that really means?

I ran a poker club in Arkansas for over 3 years and found that the more you can get in a round table, the better.

With an octagon everyone can see the maps, it is easier to process, and the raking of chips (to win a hand) is easier.

An oval table, it is difficult for the players at the ends to see the cards, the cards, and scraping a pot.

The only way to an oval table would be a good use, whether the children a full-time dealer, sat in the middle of the table and had control of the game had. This happens only rarely with "friends". Normally, to avoid any person themselves.

On a side note, I recommend the purchase of her husband, two sets of plastic cards. Last forever! If you spill a liquid can be deleted from them and it still works! Also you can clean in the dishwasher. They are called "co-payment" or "Kem" cards.

The problem I have with Octagon, the availability and affordability. There are around some very nice tables octagon, but they are so beautiful, they are very expensive. When I worked at Sears, sold a very nice, was the $ 300. They are to be priced (around $ 20) are tops on the kitchen table or the table of the regular game set, but on the other hand, those who are really cheap. They are a little cheaper than cartridge down on them, and from green sticker indicating the economic flop, turn and river. Good for children, no men!

As mentioned the other oval are some shortcomings, but you can also some very nice for under $ 100. If you have a Dick's Sporting Goods have in your area, I know at least the last two seasons (for which I am in this season) for Christmas, you have a table that would normally sell from $ 99 to to go as low as take at $ 69 However, the picture quality is not the casino, but 70 or $ 80 is a beautiful picture. An upper limit is soft, pillow-ring on the outside and SanUrdy all out. Definitely the right way when you are on a budget.

But in fact her husband was pleased to receive from you. A woman who plays her husband supported Poker is a very gift for any poker player, I promise.

Goodluck.
